Great to deal with George at BJ Marine, he creates an immediately welcoming environment. Through all my dealings with George he was very open and to the point so you know where you stand. This time I was not willing to continue with a purchase due to survey results, however George managed the account extremely professionally and also supplied details of other options. Great service!
Utter Shysters, Listed a boat as 'Newly listed, hardly used' advised by a few guys on the Marina they have been trying to sell it for over two years. The owner was disabled and couldn't use it anymore after living aboard for years. Boat was rotten, smelly and badly maintained by the sellers. I was informed by more than one person that BJ Marine have a terrible reputation locally, a serial offender and I heard of some terrible examples of his Shenanigans. I travelled over three hours to get there. What A total waste of time.
I've know George in the industry for over twenty years in a professional capacity, he is honest and well respected throughout our industry. The comments from a review know as IC builders is totally malicious and should be ignored, she has also left similar comments on my own site and two other companies. Despite contacting google by email they have to date not removed her foul comments.
I sold my Dufour 36 Performance in 2018 with George who managed everything professionally from start to finish. Even when there was a small issue in the survey he kept both me and the prospective buyer in the loop, managed the repair, and sealed the deal in a timely manner. I see him regularly on and around the water and very happy to recommend him to both buyers and sellers alike.
