Absolutely awful service- issue after issue at the Blackburn branch, with not an apology uttered. Used to have fantastic customer service, now it’s like you’re an inconvenience. So far my new glasses arrived with the lens not flush in the lens, were scratched when I took them back in- so I’ve had to leave them to be replaced before I’ve even had them-and then was kept waiting for 20 minutes for a glaucoma test to be told to come back in 20 minutes as they were running late. A week later, I’ve just been called as I was setting off for my rearranged appointment (on a Sunday, at my inconvenience) to be told it’s been cancelled as the optician is off sick. Still no apology and no glasses that I’ve paid for over 3 weeks later. Shockingly bad service

I had a problem with my eye following a fall I had. From information at my Doctors it would appear that you can attend a local optician for treatment.This i did and the receptionist was extremely helpful and arranged an appointment for me on the 11th October. The optician i saw as very thorough and alleviate my concerns, he referred me to the hospital as a matter of urgency. I received a call from the hospital and was seen the next day, my eye problem now seems to be settling down and i have a further appointment with a consultant later this month. Bye Specsavers, see you folks when my next eye test is due. Thank you George
Booked afree eye test for the first time, got to the appointment , got asked how long ago did i last have an eye test, but because i was tested less than 12mths ago boots said the test will not be free i will be charged. Why was i not told this when i was booking the free eye test. This wasted a parking ticket, my time and not being given information like this at the time of booking. First & last visit to here.
Poor customer service, extremely unhelpful Practice manager who has made my experience with Boots Opticians Blackburn Mall practice very dissatisfactory. #badservicebybootsopticians
