Car rental was booked for one week with the return date and time scheduled for 10am on a Bank Holiday Monday. Initially everything was great with the booking, aside from only being told when I arrived to collect the car that I would need my National Insurance number to prove I had no previous driving convictions. Luckily I had this information with me or I can't imagine what their solution would have been... It all went wrong with the return of the vehicle. As the branch is closed on Bank Holiday Monday and there is no key deposit facility I was informed when picking up the car that I would have to return it two days early as they were closed on the Bank Holiday! I was not informed of this when booking, so that is my first complaint. Luckily, after speaking with staff, I was told that somebody would meet me at the branch at 10am on the Bank Holiday Monday. I arrived early but there was no sign of any staff. I then waited until after 10.30am with the vehicle but there was still no sign of anyone! I called Customer Service which was not running that day, there was no way of calling staff directly, and there was no emergency number for the branch! I was forced to park the car and hide the keys as there wasn't even a letterbox to the building! Goodness knows what kind of fine they will try to lump me with for 'incorrectly returning the vehicle', but needless to say I am not happy at all. I emailed Customer Service as I left the car and I am yet to receive a response. My advice is only use this branch as an absolute last resort!

Very poor , recently had a hire car through my insurance whilst my vehicle was being repaired . The previous person had been smoking in the car & there were matches every where despite it supposedly being cleaned . I had to pay 1 on my debit card Incase I didn’t leave the tank full which I fully understand , I know it’s only a 1 but it was taken twice , if they did this to everyone who hires a car every day . I reported that there was no copy of the damage that had been previously done to the car , no one could care less . I know it’s only a 1 but it’s over 2 weeks ago & still not been refunded . I certainly wouldn’t use this company by choice .
A really helpful and well priced car hire. The cars are always well valeted and close to being brand new.
Absolutely horrible. I had arranged to pick up a car at 6pm. I arrive at the branch 6pm sharp and it's closed! No warning, no call, nothing. I wasted 15 pounds on taxi and ended up stranded due to their inconpetence. Whats the point of arranging a picking up time if youbare closed? Thank you for nothing.
I was told when I collected the car I needed an over seas pack to cover me for taking the vehicle to the Isle of Wight, which i later found out isn't true due to the Isle of Wight being mainland UK. This was an extra cost I wasn't prepared to pay at the time so ended up leaving the vehicle on a secure car park in Southampton at a cost, and get the ferry on foot which was inconvenient and meant I had to rely on lifts from family for the duration of the holiday. Contacted customer service who reimbursed me 20 pounds but that still didn't cover the parking costs. Lesson learnt, Enterprise next time.
