As an Uber driver, I have to turn in items left in my car by passengers to a local police department. Uber also wants the officer’s name and badge number so they know who to contact when they find the person who has lost something and the person I talked to refused to give his info and took the item anyway. I better not get in trouble with my job because a cop feels entitled to take my info and refuse his. He didn’t have to be mean about it, either. Professionalism would have been nice

Zero Starts. Blacksburg police regularly are sitting on private property watching traffic. THIS IS NOT LEGAL. I have approached multiple Blacksburg police officers about this. Each one at different teams will tell you it's legal and CANNOT SHOW YOU THE STATUE. Blacksburg police will tell you it is. Blanksburg police are wrong\u200d️. Legal Extortion.
I feel so lucky to have officers that actually care. Never met a “bad” police officer from the area or in general. Keep up the good work and thank you so much! If you ever need help they will be there. Can not express my gratitude enough. \u003c3
Always responsive, prompt, and respectful; very professional.
I lived in duplex and my neighbors upstairs were playing music loud so I approached them to lower the music. Unfortunately, after a few hours later, they decided go loud again around 1 am and woke me up from sleep. I decided to reach out to Blacksburg police and their dispatch handled the situation. I deeply appreciate their service and promptness. Thank you
