Family of 6 in need of sustenance came across this pub by accident. Classic old English pub from the outside turned out to be a fabulous oasis of a garden with differing areas covered and uncovered. Fresh pizzas cooked to order on the menu by the fairly new owners who have done wonders with the social distancing and cleansing. Orders can be made via an app from the tables and are dispensed in great time and good humour. Will definitely return when in the area.

So so nice. New owners and haven't they done well. The garden is beautiful and the owners so welcoming. They have thought long and hard about how to improve this pub and they have ticked all the boxes. Dog friendly trough. Great choice of bar snacks. A Must visit.

When we booked the table we were told to arrive promptly and order quickly due to them always being busy. We arrived early, ordered in a timely manner and the food was extremely slow at arriving, despite there being only on party of two eating and one person sitting at the bar. The fish was over cooked and chips very sparce. Despite that it tasted good. The service was better than OK but not brilliant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
