They are very good at their jobs, making the entire process very efficient and comfortable for the donors. I was formerly restricted from giving blood for roughly around 20 years bcuz of my service in the Army in Germany in the early 80s (possibility of Mad Cow Disease). About 2 months ago they finally removed that restriction and I was able to donate to save lives again. I had never donated platelets before, but now I've done it twice in the past month and I plan to continue to do it every 2 weeks as long as I can. Yesterday I did a double donation of platelets which took a lot longer, but I was watching a movie while I was donating so it was no problem at all. I hereby challenge EVERYONE in JBSA who is able to give blood, platelets or plasma to go there soon and help me save lives!!!
