BHS offered a lot of varied learning opportunities both in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities. I had some great teachers who I credit for setting me up for success academically after high school and into my career.

My daughter graduated from here. They offer opportunities to excel and work towards earning college Advanced Placement credit. They also have a great choral, band and orchestra program as well as opportunities in a big variety of sports. My only concern was regarding her reports of excessive student PDA in the hallways and stairwells. Wrong time and place in my mind.

This school prepares students with real life situations, they seem bad at the time but in the end, make you better off than if you went to a private school. The staff cares very much for their students and lots of classes are provided. BHS is truly an underated school. The only people putting bad reviews are the people who are bullied-which is unfortunate but it happens at every school and you will never find a school where bullying doesn’t happen. It’s like a community, rather than a coorperation of schools, like unit 5. I think the only reason people don’t like this school is because there is diversity and more than just rich, white kids. If you need to talk to a teacher, 99% of them will try to fix your problems. There is also a really good grading system here. You get As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Fs here, rather than 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s. If you aren’t good with people, maybe this isn’t the school for you if you don’t like people because there is over 1000 students who attend this school.

Worst place to learn life skills. All I learned is that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
