This place is heaven sent. People working here will go out their way to help you. Unlike the sally, this place is clean, professional and safe. Extensive background check to get in though. Some staff will treat like a kid, but if you stay clam, cool and collected then this place is like a second home.. Home sweet Home..

The staff are very friendly, the food is good, and they offer counseling if needed.

I’ve seen many people live at Home Sweet Home and get back on their feet. The people who are appreciative are doing the right thing for the right reason, and appreciate the wonderful bed, food, counseling and accountability. Those who want to abuse every system certainly seem to be considerably less appreciative and grateful. I’ve volunteered there, used the food coop for my own needs, and I’ve known some people who work there. Thank you HSHM for your continued love of humanity!

An extremely valuable resource for our community that many people underappreciate and/or criticize for the wrong reasons. (As an example, look at the review from a Melissa Bruketta, who took her time to specifically bring down this establishment due to them not calling her back to come and pick up all of her stuff for her. This is the type of petty reviewing that aims to detract from a great establishment that serves a great cause.) If you are wondering about this place, I encourage you to walk in sometime and just ask about all the services being provided to those who are hungry and in need If you are a disgruntled reviewer, please think about the petty things you bring up to complain about in light of the grand scheme of things.
