The Vision Salon Eye Care professionals and staff provide services on a personal and professional level, whether to adults or youth/children. The friendly and warm environment allows the customer to feel comfortable and at ease, regardless of the type of services they are seeking. Dr. Ansel Johnson is a highly skilled, well trained, consummate eye care specialist, who provides thorough and in-depth examinations of the eye, to diagnose, treat, suggest, and recommend products or procedures to assist with maintaining a healthy eye, and continued visual life, through a regimen of beneficial options. I found Dr. Johnson on the Internet, because I wanted to find an eye care specialist who could be attentive to my needs. After a phone call of inquiry, I made an appointment to have an exam. As a person who has a long standing history of diabetic eye issues, including diabetic retinopathy, I was pleased to be informed that Diabetic eye care is one of the areas of which Dr. Johnson specializes. I live in Detroit, Michigan, but I had no objections to driving to Illinois to be seen by a doctor who has received so many wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed. The trip was well worth it! I believe my eyes will be well taken care of. I would recommend this clinic, the Vision Salon Eye Care Associates, to anyone who is seeking a healthcare professional who is dedicated and devoted to the care of their eyes and their continued optical health and maintenance.

I had a very pleasurable experience here. Dr. Johnson was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The staff was also very helpful and attentive. The staff also walked me through step by step what my insurance covered and didn't and what my upfront costs would be, so there were no surprises when it came to payment. Vision Salon Eye Care Associates in Blue Island, IL is absolutely the best! The staff is great and Dr. Johnson is amazing! The office was clean, in compliance with safety guidelines, and their protocol to ensure the safety of patients is remarkable. There were only a few other patients there, I had my temp taken, I was given sanitizer, and seating was more than 6 ft apart. The doctor as well staff rendered great care. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Vision Eye Care Associates has a great selection of eyewear and a wide array of products to suit all of your eye care needs. I will be bringing my family to Vision Salon Eye Care Associates for all of their future eye care. Thank you for your excellent service, while ensuring my safety as well as the safety of others.

Dr. Johnson is the BEST. The staff are very friendly and professional. In addition to an excellent variety of glasses frames to choose from, the office also has a variety of advanced technology to address several medical diseases of the eye. Another great thing about this practice is that Dr. Johnson and some of his staff speak Spanish!
