I love this place and highly recommend it. Our server was a little frustrating, she was not the friendliest but the food, drink and atmosphere more than made up for that. They have a great cocktail and beer selection, I recommend the refreshing spice drink for two called the Ginger Harvest that comes in a shaker. We opted for their wings and I’m sooooo glad we did as they have a unique spice blend that’s not too hot and made for some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Plus they were perfectly cooked so they were tender without being dry or greasy. The Chili & Beer Cheese Nachos are delicious piled so high with flavorful toppings, we barely made a dent in this large shareable appetizer. The staff were good about wearing masks. Had the waitress been friendly to us and not acted annoyed all the time I would have given five stars, ( but we still tipped her 20% in cash for the record) No matter what, this is a must go place while in Blue Ridge!

This is a very good restaurant to go for either dinner or a nice drink at the upstairs bar. Atmosphere at the bar is almost like a speakeasy. Great selection of cocktails. We had to wait for 2 hours for a table to become available on a Saturday night so we spend some time hanging out there. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. They have the best wings and blue cheese dip hands down. If I ever come back to Blue Ridge I will definitely return for some Shrimp and grits.
Service - awesome and very attentive. We sat at the bar. Caesar salad - great portion for the price point. Everything was fresh and tasted good. Pasta pesto special - made to perfection Wings - tried the garlic teriyaki sauce they had on special and it didn’t let me down. I liked that the wings were drenched in sauce. They were pretty decent size and perfectly cooked. All around 5 stars
Let's be honest, Blue Ridge is a tourist town, and there are two types of businesses in tourist towns: Those that churn through volumes of transients and seasonal visitors with machine-like efficiency hoping to catch a few positive reviews and become that coveted \go to\ place people recommend to their friends, and those low-key hidden gems where the locals take refuge in the quiet comfort, familiar faces, and reliable service. Chester's is the best of both worlds. It's conveniently located on the main strip, has a diverse menu, is family- and tourist-friendly, and has a kind of kitschy rustic vibe that's ironically endearing. On the other hand, there's a great liquor selection (including some great premiums), the menu is expansive and priced right, and as far as waitstaff, it seems like being able to connect instantly and create a relationship with your guests is a prerequisite to work there. The food and drinks are great, but if I'm being honest, I actually enjoy the conversation more! I've had literally half their menu and there's nothing I wouldn't order again. The sticky ribs are hit-or-miss: I wouldn't recommend them as takeout food (especially if you're eating in the car), but at home or in the restaurant they're terrific.
Excellent food and excellent service. We tried the ribs, shrimp and grits, rainbow trout. Everything was excellent. Everybody wearing masks not like the other places in Georgia.
