Good for kids
The trail has a very beautiful representation of nature. It takes around 45 minutes to get to the waterfall and it’s around a mile and a half from the start to the waterfall. It is preferably better to go on a vehicle 4x4, you can also go up and down the mountain on a mountain bike. There are a lot of spots for camping. It’s pet friendly. It is an easy trail for families like kids, adults, and elders.

The most scenic part of the AT in Georgia, in my opinion. Good place for a short day hike.
The falls were pretty and the hike wasn't too bad. I enjoyed a picnic on one of the boulders by the waterfall.
It was a wonderful walk. It's fairly easy, too, even with two five year olds and a two year old in tow. There were many families on the trek besides us. And the waterfall was beautiful, though note it is small. I got in the pool, despite the freezing cold. The trek back is easier because it's slightly downhill, which is good since you're more tired heading back. The only drawback is getting to the trailhead. It's WAY in the middle of nowhere. The last six miles take about 30 minutes to drive, and some of the turns are a but dangerous since it's single lane. It's a pretty drive, though.
Love this trail, beautiful scenery can't wait to go back.
