First Watch gets busy on the weekends. Went online and added ourselves to the wait list, arrived and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Enjoyed a morning mediation drink to help wake me up with some ginger and turmeric. Ordered the delicious, savory french toast that was grilled to perfection. Side order of potatoes that were perfectly cooked. Only downside was no Heinz 57 sauce for the potatoes. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us throughout our breakfast. Everything was super clean, tables and seats wiped down after every guest and mask on everyone.

Wait time was longer than first stated. 20 to 30 min ended up being almost 40. Water glasses that were given to us still had lip marks from previous diners (gross to say the least.) Asked for new cups, still weren't super clean. Had to ask for straws too. Husband wanted regular sugar for his coffee, ended up with some kind of sugar that didn't even break up/dissolve. Food wasn't hot or cold, barely warm. The greens on husband's egg Benedict tasted like they weren't even washed. The best part of the whole meal was the bread, which obviously says a lot. Bill was 30 without tip which is ridiculous for what we received. Left hungry and dissatisfied. Will not be back.
My husband insists we come here every weekend. He loves the food and that it is fresh and not cooked in grease like many other resturants. Kudos.
Our waiter Tye , was the kindest waiter I’ve had in all my years. He was optimistic and very enthusiastic abt helping us order, he was patient and made small talk with others around. He helped an old lady in the building. This place is a great environment. The food is wonderful and very over the top. This place exceeded my highest expectations. Definitely will be recommending to my friends.
I have been to many of the breakfast places in the KC metro area. I recently tried the Blue Springs First Watch location and I think it is the best breakfast place in KC and it will be my new preferred breakfast place. My server was Sierra and her very attentive service was outstanding! She was super friendly and took time to chat with me and when she realized how big of a bacon fan I am, she recommended the Million Dollar Bacon appetizer which was awesome! All of my other food was also perfect!
