Ok so I dont have too much experience here. But from what I did get was understandable hassle and great customer service as compensation. Thats the summary. Now I will go into detail. See i started when Aaron's was there, Aaron's never notified me of being bought out. So when I started getting calls from a "rental city" about owing money my mind immediately went to SCAM! And I promptly ignored it as such. Later found out it wasn't. I set up auto pay with Aaron's to never have to worry about paying. I just kept money in the bank. Wrong idea apparently. So when I finally got around to reseting payments I was informed I needed to pay exponentially more than my original agreement. Over 900 for a bed that was 700 something starting AND had many many payments already under my belt. Finally I talked with the new owner and got things straightened out and now had things back on track. They were very nice and patient about it. The transition of agreements was handled poorly, and whether its on Aaron's or rental city I cannot say. But the whole thing was hellatious. I have not been able to rent anything from there and won't till tax returns, but I do look forward to working with them again and seeing if it was just an isolated incident or if they drop the ball like Aaron's did. If I have a good experience I will be tacking on the 5th star. I gave 4 stars for such a bad experience because I'm not sure where the blame lies and like I said, they did what they could to get things back on track. The customer service warrants a second attempt.
Good place to get furniture appliances and washers and dryers. Cheaper than all the other competitors.
Ever since they bought Aarons, it has gone down hill. I just paid off my account and was charged for late fees. I asked where the fees came from and they couldn't tell me. I paid them just because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I have even requested to be removed from their mailing list.
Nice staff. Easy to work with.
