As a first time patron and first responder, I have to say that I will give them 4 stars simply for the taste of the food. With that being said, it saddens me to say that this could have EASILY been a 3 star rating based on a couple of other things because I truly wanted this experience to be a good one. We ordered this food using DoorDash and the food arrived ice cold and soggy. Now, I don't hold Responder's 100% accountable for this because we were notified that DD had an issue with finding a delivery driver so the food sat there getting cold while the \issue\ was being worked out. Unfortunately, this reflects bad on Responder's and someone at the restaurant needs to be aware of how long food sits before being picked up. With that being said, the portion sizes weren't what we expected based on previous reviews (especially the side items). While the tenderloin was a great size, as you can see in the photos, the chicken fried steak was very small (compared to others we've had at other restaurants) and the coleslaw container was only half full while the green been container was completely full. We also ordered the friend pickles and fried mushrooms to get an idea of the quality of several types of foods and they were both very good, except soggy as mentioned above. We won't call this \code\ just yet and hope that there is more life left in Responders, but in the future we will not be doing delivery and hope (and expect) that if we come to dine in the quality will be much better.

We went here a few times during the first quarantine. The food was good and they observed CDC guidelines. We would encourage everyone to support local.
Great food at great prices! I have been here multiple times and always get amazing food and really good service. They have a variety of food types, and all of them have been good. In my opinion, this is one of the best places to eat in Blue Springs!
First off the staff here is wonderful. The decor is awesome. And the food is terrific. I don't think I could reccomend a better place to stop in and eat if you are in the Blue Springs area.
