So I purchased a home in the Lower Key's and was referred to Blythe Pools by the local repair company. I gave specific instructions since I am not there all the time so the first cleaning/maintenance would go smoothly. Unaware or maybe it didn't matter my home is protected by security cameras and motion detectors so I was alerted when the first tech came to do my service. Had they followed the instructions I gave them they would have entered through the right door and avoided that sensor but since they didn't I was alerted. I was quoted 125 a month for once a week maintenance, for a jacuzzi, which is chemicals the occasional need to add water the basic cleaning so I thought. The technician arrived at my house 12:35pm and left at exactly 12:38pm. Okay so from what I saw on video he simply came in with a small white box walked to the room where the Jacuzzi is located, which does not have a camera for privacy of my guest who may come time from time. So I know the Jacuzzi hadn't been touched for over a week and a half and even then the pH and other factors were way off. What you can do in 3 minutes is not in my mind anything productive unless you are in a hotdog eating contest. Sadly this kind of thing happens and happens a lot more in places like the Florida Key's were working is second to everything else for a majority of local residents, including myself, it's the Key's right? But I'm not getting paid either. I just want people to be aware of this kind of situation the sad part is it normally has nothing to do with the Company owner but it's employees, unless they are instructed to work like that, which if it was the case that particular Company wouldn't last very long. As a 14yr veteran of the service industry in Florida an active owner/supervisor can weed out the trash and find and keep the best, obviously this Company doesn't have very high standards when it comes to their employees and the expected level of professionalism.
