My favorite homebrew spot. Bob is always super helpful. His knowledge has helped me learn my way through being a new homebrewer. Well worth checking out.

Better call ahead. Was closed when I showed up at 530pm on a Thursday.
I'm pretty disappointed with Bob's. I've been home brewing for about 7 years. I had a lot of loyalty for this shop when I started. Their selection and service used to be unbeatable back then. For the last year they have had empty shelves and unpredictable hours. Closed for the day midday on Fridays and Saturdays, it just doesn't make sense. As much as it pains me, I recommend taking the time to go an extra 20 minutes for better service and product selections. Bob's should focus on developing more reliable shipments, and more reliable staff who can show up on time for the whole day. If they can stay open for their advertised hours I will consider changing my review and giving them my business again.
Great selection and a staff that truly loves beer and helping people make their own.
Like many, I have relied on this shop as a local Homebrew supply shop for years. Recently, I often find the store shut up during business hours or running low on supplies or both. I wouldn't recommend making a trip out here for brewing supplies, it's likely they won't be open or won't have the even very basic) things you need.
Looks defunct. I was over after work on Friday and didn’t see anyone there, lights out etc. Quite a mess inside so I assume it’s no longer open. Wish I’d known that before busing all the way over here :/
Awesome place with a really knowledgeable/helpful owner. Overall just a great place to get equipment and ingredients.
Well, hate to say it, but this place is my least favorite of the four-five shops I've visited around the Seattle area. First, it's unfortunately pretty run down inside. There's carpet, and it's threadbare and very dirty. Kind of doesn't make me excited about buying food grade equipment let alone ingredients. My second observation was that they didn't have what I needed. I wouldn't ding them too much on the review for that alone, except a) it's a very common item, b) every other shop in town has it, and c) the store in general seemed pretty low on stock and not super organized. Oh, there's also the matter of friendliness. The guy working there, who I suppose is Bob, was talking to another customer when I arrived, and for 5 more minutes. That's fine, but if it were my shop, I think I would have paused for 3 seconds to say hello, welcome to my shop, let me know if you need some help, or something. It's a personal choice, but it's one that every other store I've been to has been very good about doing.
