Hunter Brown Charters Reviews | Rating 5 out of 5 stars (4 reviews)

Hunter Brown Charters is located in Boca Grande, United States on 586 5th St E. Hunter Brown Charters is rated 5 out of 5 in the category fishery in United States. Inshore fishing guide Capt. Christian Hunter Brown offers backcountry flats fishing charters from Upper Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande to Sarasota, targeting redfish, snook, trout, tarpon, and other inshore species. On a backcountry fishing charter with Capt. Hunter, anglers will fish isolated shallow grass flats and mangrove creeks for the biggest gamefish that these areas offer. Inshore backcountry fishing charters with Capt. Hunter will vary based on the behavior of snook, redfish, trout and tarpon at different times of the year. Some days may be spent working top water baits in backcountry honey holes or along mangrove shorelines for exciting surface attacks by snook, trout, and redfish. Other days anglers may target fish holding in sandy potholes on the flats either sight casting or blind casting to them. In the colder months and throughout the year, tailing redfish offer a great sight fishing opportunity for anglers of all experience levels. While Capt. Hunter changes his fishing styles and charters to match the seasonal activity of the fish, clients are welcome and encouraged to request their preferred focus on their charter, whether it is chasing tailing fish, sight fishing over sandy flats, live bait fishing potholes, tarpon fishing in the harbor etc. This is your charter and Capt. Hunter will do everything he can to make sure you have the best experience possible. Capt. Hunter greatly values the sensitive environment where he guides, especially the backcountry and flats of Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor. A guided fishing charter with Capt. Hunter is an immersive experience in natural Florida, he avoids areas that receive high pressure and takes his charter clients deep into the mazes of mangroves and grass flats to find the biggest snook, redfish, and trout. Captain Hunter Brown is fully insured, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, and is a member of the Florida Guides Association.

I've been on multiple trips with Hunter Brown. No one in my group had much fishing experience before our first trip but he was extremely helpful and made the trip enjoyable for everybody. Since then we have been back for multiple trips with him and will continue to use Hunter Brown Charters in the future. I would recommend him to all of my friends, from novice to experienced fishermen.

I had a full day of fishing with Hunter Brown charters on 11/24/17. He knew exactly where to go in the backcountry for the early morning topwater bite where the snook and reds were chasing mullet. We lost an overslot snook that was screaming the drag, but pulled in some good fish. The bite slowed way down after the morning and weather rolled in. Captain Hunter worked hard to get us on as many fish as possible throughout the day even when the bite and the weather were tough. We found snook and trout in sand holes and on the flats later in the day using mostly artificials as well as cutbait to pick up fish even when the bite was off. I could tell Hunter knew his stuff and cared about making the best out of the day. I would definitely go back to him again in the future.
