It's a peaceful place and the grounds were clean (no trash laying around). It's a very nice park.

I recently visited this lake and had a phenomenal experience. When entering you do have to pay a 15 parking fee. Other than that, it's free. You can bring food and beverages, even beer. As long as you don't bring in glass bottles. The lake wasn't too packed. I was able to relax, dip my feet in the water, played some music and enjoyed my company. It's a great family place or an experience for two! You can also bring a kayak or something. I'm definitely coming back!

Boerne Lake offers all you need for a family day's fun. You can swim, paddle board, canoe, fish, relax and BBQ w/a picnic area. The park is clean, beautiful and quite serene. With only minutes away from San Antonio, it's well worth the drive for only a 10 fee... you won't regret it.

This lake is beautiful and clean. They have plenty of restrooms. You can rent kayaks and paddleboards by the hour. It's 10 to get in on weekdays. 15 on weekends. Free to Boerne residents.
