This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in Boerne and we first checked it out back in April since it has an outdoor dining option. It was a 5-star experience and that's why we visited again yesterday for dinner. Yesterday's experience was more like a 3-star experience and hopefully a one-time miss. That's why the overall 4-star rating. We tried the Crystal flight which made sense when it was served. I joked with the server that hopefully it was not all water since the drinks were clear. The fun part was tasting and guessing what the drinks were and looking at the menu. We got 2 out of 4 correctly. My husband and I decided to split the Mixed Greens again but did forget they charge extra for splitting the plates. We ordered the Chicken Wings again but this was on the dry side. My husband had the Pan Roasted Red Snapper. He enjoyed the flavors a lot but this was slightly overcooked. I had the Pan Roasted Pork Loin. The sauce on top of the pork loin was delicious with the crawfish and sweetness. There were a few pieces of the pork loin that were on the dry side too. The mash potatoes were uniquely good mixed with red peppers. We did give all the feedback to the server and hopefully the chef and management address the issues.

Outstanding restaurant with great service and atmosphere. The cocktail menu is amazing and the food is delicious (try the shrimp and grits!). We watched this building being transformed into what it is today. So happy to have such great entrepreneurs in Boerne!
The atmosphere is great. We went to the first floor first. The waitress was very nice, forgot our appetizer, we never mentioned it, paid for the drinks and moved to the second floor. The waitress on the second floor was not a great salesperson. We asked if we could get a cocktail without one ingredient...”I don’t think so.” We asked if we could sub a side on an entree...”I don’t think so.” It was less than helpful. The condiments are from scratch and are terrible. I appreciate scratch made items, but these were terrible substitutes. The ketchup was, imagine if you will, cold marinara that your kid dumped a pile of Parmesan in while playing at the dinner table. The ranch shouldn’t be called house ranch. We asked what the seasoning in it is and no one would or could tell us. The ketchup is also the barbecue sauce and cocktail sauce. The Buffalo sauce was okay, but was really just hot sauce not Buffalo style at all. Not impressed with the food all around.
Delicious food, awesome employees (Will is #1), beautiful, clean building. We will be back! Rob & Cindy Flores Comfort, Texas
Classy cocktails, nice atmosphere, great food! Scratch-made condiments were flavorful and a nice touch! (Don’t understand the negative reviews on them... maybe reviewer is used to kid food condiments?)
The meal was ok, but the experience was marred by being absolutely invaded by flies. I made a reservation in advance and we were seated at the outdoor porch area anyway. I had one cocktail and it became undrinkable due to the number of flies in it. The menu is rather limited as well.
Outstanding service, great atmosphere, from the silent pictures playing on the walls to the awesome bathroom deco. The cocktails were fantastic and the old fashioned was one of the best I've had in the entire San Antonio region. The pork the dish was amazing. Only knock was the pizza sauce was very overpowering and I was not a fan of it. Try the wings, trust me!
Great greeters and servers. Food came before used tableware was removed, but not a big deal. Bar drinks are fabulous. The French 75 is made with cognac! The food is overpriced and wasn't really as special as it read on the menu. It's a fun place, though and everyone is accommodating.
