We got scammed into a home warranty that we were told we could cancel at any time. We called today and they told us we were locked into a 12 month contract! Sounds like they absolutely cannot be trusted! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID!!

DO NOT USE. As a single mom, I selected Sears because it was a brand I thought I could trust. The repair man told me a price quickly and said two weeks to repair the washing machine. He then started using scare tactics to push a 600 annual warranty. When I asked him to write down what he was saying, he refused. When I asked if I could quote him, he refused. When I asked him to write down the diagnosis that cost me 85, he refused. He said the part cost 160 from Whirlpool and if I tried to get the part myself, it would be more. I asked if I could call in Sears in a hour or two before committing to the 400 repair, he said I needed to make a decision immediately or pay the service fee again. I ordered the part online from Whirlpool for 62. DO NOT TRUST.

They said everything was working fine, BUT today the outside temp is 72 and the AC says 76. It still does not cool down. They said we may need to buy new windows (what a crock). Each afternoon the AC reads 79 or 80 degrees. It never cools down. This has been going on for about a week.
