Sister creek is the antithesis of the big commercial operations - it is family owned, small and very rustic with their tasting rooms being in an old cotton gin. There just is not many wineries like this left in any wine region in the world. We always love our visits here. Oh and they just happen to make some of the best award winning wines in Texas!

Actually popped in for wine tasting (since they were open on weekdays) while we were in town in Boerne visiting my husband’s family. Cute little winery in a converted cotton gin. You can do a little self tour then do your tastings. The man who we did our tastings with was knowledgeable and fun. Wines were good, we bought 2 bottles to take home.

A really fun time at Sister Creek Vineyards! Immediately we were greeted and welcomed. We got a tour of the winery and proceeded with a wine tasting. The wine was great and the ambience was amazing as well! Highly recommend!
