Lovely park to spend the day, the train is great value for money and the guys running it are very friendly. We have been year after year and always had a great time. Close to the beach and high street so you can have a walk and see what else is around. Lots of squirrels and if you find some acorns they won't hesitate to come close. All round a good day out and something to do in a nice surrounding.

One of the most relaxing and beautiful parks I've ever enjoyed in my whole life

First visit here on 22/10/20. Plenty of room for children to charge about and let off steam. The 2 playgrounds seem well equipped although the zip wire terminates right across the footpath from the general park into the playground...an accident waiting to happen if an unsuspecting person including children were to venture in to the playground from that direction. There is a very nice cafe there I was advised although we didn't venture over that side of the park. Plenty of benches around and the children liked the wood sculptures of Alice in Wonderland. It was very popular with dog walkers which could be a problem if like me, you have a grandchild wary of dogs. I did not see any off the lead though, having said that so it was very manageable. It was clean and well tended given the time of year. A definite must for the Spring and Summer to see the flowers and shrubs alight with colour. The car park I used was of a good size and there are others too close by. If you are a blue badge owner parking is free.

Been here lots over the years. Particularly good for entertaining the children. Nice to wander round the grounds, there are some picnic areas, crazy golf, playground, railway and a cafe.

Lovely park to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon! Lots of things to keep children entertained including a miniature railway, crazy golf, boating lake (although this wasn’t open when we visited) and a very well appointed adventure playground. We didn’t sample the cafe as the line to get in was too long, but I’m sure this attests to the quality of the food served there. The park was very clean and tidy and there was plenty of parking available at a very small cost. Would highly recommend a visit
