Really interesting museum. Not too many people there and you could look at some nice militaria pieces as well as religious statues at your leisure. Cool and shady in there as well.

Great medieval museum in Bologna. Free entrance for students. The medieval connection is great, they speak a lot about the history of Bologna. They also a modern installation, the Museum d'Ohm, where a permanent collection of objects is kept in a drawer (ask for the keys in reception).
The age of dragons, knights, fire and chivalry in this fine collection of military artifacts, weapons and armour from the dark ages and thereafter. The exhibition brings together the western and eastern worlds under one roof.
Best place to find out about Bologna history. Enjoyed.
