Rivington bar and grill is the best take away in horwich.. The quality of food is what you get hot and freshly made no reheated food and at a reasonable price. We have been using other takeaway services over lockdown some good most average at best... We ordered on the website 20 minuets later I collected my order 10 mins late was tucking into it. you can tell it was restaurant standard and worth the money... We cannot wait till they reopen after lockdown but in the meantime we will certainly be using the takeaway service again and again

Food was absolutely superb. Steak and ale pie had plenty of steak and was super tasty. Chips were amazing too! Service could have been a little more efficient, but given the adjustments since the new lockdown measures, I think it was fine. Would recommend.
Been on numerous occasions to the Rivington Grill and have always enjoyed our meals. The menu has an excellent variety of dishes and the food is always well presented. The staff are pleasant and helpful and there is always a good ambience about the place. Up to now have not been disappointed and will continue visiting on a regular basis.
There is an amazing selection of food choices and prices to suit everyone. Our dishes were excellent, well presented and cooked. The service was also set on. Heartily recommend a visit
I've just been here for lunch with my wife and son, the food wasn't all that great to be honest, but we thought that at least we were getting a good deal with the eat out to help out, we were wrong. On the menu it says 3 courses for 14.00 so for the 3 of us 42.00 plus soft drinks at 3.00 each so a total of 51.00........until we go to pay and are told that this offer is not on because it would put to much food on the menu??? This being the same menu that shows the offer!!! So lets break it down it should of cost a total of 51.00 with the offer on and would of cost me 25.50 It actually cost me 47.00 with the maximum discount of 30.00 so it was in total 77.00 So if the offer was on they would be claiming 25.50 back from the government but now they are claiming 30.00.....but it gets worse..... with the offer on I would of paid like I said 25.50 but because I paid 47.00 that is 21.50 extra there have made from me and another 30.00 from the government. I can only see this one way and that is as pure profiteering. I will of course not go back, for this reason and the fact that the food wasn't that great anyway. Just to say no were did it say on the menu or in the premises that the offer of 3 courses for 14.00 had been taken away. Shame on you In reply to your reply, I didn't even look on the website... It should not still be on the menu or a notice should be up telling people who didn't look at the website. I was never told the mid week menu wasn't on and seeing as it was on the menu I was given I shouldn't need to ask to check. I wasn't confused about anything and I know how the figure of 47.00 was worked out. But seems strange that the mid week menu isn't on and that way you can make more money!!!! Eat out to help out as become eat out to help your self out
