This is the small, local Cafe that everyone wishes they had in their local neighborhood. It is quaint, and run by the nicest folks anyone could ask to help them. When we came the owner, Miranda was working with her young daughter Elizabeth helping. It was an easy Sunday morning, rain rolling in and customers doing the same - rolling in the front door. We enjoyed yogurt parfait with homemade granola, locally made (and grown!) berry jam, and mint leaves picked right from the back garden. The breads and pastries are top notch. Coffee is great, again it's local from Trinity, and keeps everything symbiotic to Newfoundland. Although we didn't rent any, this is what seems like the only spot in town to rent a bicycle and helmet for the day. All in all, this place is top notch and shouldn't be missed.

Had a delicious scone and my partner had a bagel. We waited almost 15 minutes for the bagel which was a bit lengthy of a wait. The only dairy alternative they had was almond milk but that's to be expected this far from town. Staff were courteous.
Nice cozy cafe with great views and friendly staff. They offer picnics with vegetarian options and bikes to rent.
Friendly staff, great menu, great service. Highly recommend stopping here for coffee and breakfast.
The website was difficult to understand and order from so I had to email. The workers were friendly and they accommodated my time, as I was travelling from Mt. Pearl to Bonavista to experience their bicycle picnic. Arriving at the cafe, my picnic was prepared but I still had to wait about 15 mins as the cafe was busy. I then picked out my helmet and had a worker help me pick out a bicycle. There were a variety of bicycles but some needed adjustments and some didn't have the equipment to carry the picnic basket. I finally settled on a bike that was a little too tall for me and had a basket in the front that kept hitting off the front wheel. No biggie, I soon adjusted it. I cycled to the nearby Dungeon Park to enjoy my picnic. The views and the ride were fantastic! Absolutely wonderful. I found a cozy spot on the cliff near some horses to enjoy my picnic. My panini was a little cold at this point and I didn't like it anyway. I didn't like any of my food and neither did the other two people I had cycled with, but I really enjoyed the fresh raspberry lemonade. Afterward, I continued to cycle around Bonavista, taking in the breathtaking views of nature and old buildings and a beach. Eventually, I returned the bicycle. The cafe had no washroom so they directed me to a washroom in a nearby building. Despite not liking the food and the inconvenience of some things, the raspberry lemonade and the offer of this unique experience made it all worth it! I reccomend it.
