Great place to spend a day. 1 in 20 Aussies have a connection to it.

Great history of Australia. Well structured considering the relative remoteness. Highly recommend.

Very interesting and moving experience. Great to walk around and realise how it was back then. Strongly recommend.

a fascinating part of Australian history, beautifully maintained and augmented with thought-provoking relics and photos. Volunteers are friendly and well-informed, adding so much to the experience. Would be great for school and tour groups.

Please change your opening hours to show COVID closure. We drove up from Bendigo to see the Centre as the opening hours showed it was open. Only found the closure info on delving deep into the website. Very disappointed.

An interesting look into Australia's history, could do with more stories throughout, I found that lacking as I enjoy reading true stories from the people who were there

A great place to visit, especially if your grandparent's were part of the migrant influx. The staff were most helpful, you can find out the name of the ship they arrived on. The bunk house they lived in, etc. As well as see how it was like to live as a migrant all those years ago in a new country, in the dry heat, and then to know our service men lived there also for a long period of time afterwards, in not very nice conditions. It well worth a visit if your in the area.
