La Course is truly a gem. A wonderful boutique hotel / guest house, perfectly situated in a quiet, cobbled street opposite a beautiful park. The bustling bistros and shops of Bordeaux town are just a few minutes walk through the landscaped gardens. All the bedrooms are uniquely styled and each with a thoughtful individual character and comfortable relaxed feel. Guests can wander through the beautifully furnished classic interior, drink wine in the cellar bar or have tea in the drawing room. The help yourself to wine option was a winner for us! Lastly, and perhaps the most important thing that impressed was the staff at La Course, they were all excellent and made our four night stay truly perfect.

Stayes here for two night's in Bordeaux as part of our honeymoon. A beautiful and stylish guesthouse with a really interesting look inside, it's own wine cellar downstairs. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful staff. They even had their own perfume. We stayed in two rooms, one called Lovebirds which was romantic hence the name, with a circular bath which have never seen before and a balcony. The other room was called La Piñada which was very different, with wood, a shower that had it's own perfume capsules, a terrace above the small garden at the rear. On the second morning we had an early flight so staff kindly prepared a breakfast for us to have the night before. Would stay again.

Beautiful attention to detail both in decor and in service. My room was cozy and had wonderful balcony which i used each evening with glass on wine. The service was attentive, warm and friendly. No complaints. I did however misplace the code to get in after hours on first night so remember to put it in your phone etc if returning after 9pm!

Stayed for a weekend in December with two kids. It couldn’t have been any more lovely. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The service was beyond outstanding. With the Christmas decorations and fireplace roaring, it felt like home but better. My four year old didn’t want to leave.

La Course and the Manon suite were magical. The house is beautiful and the common spaces are so welcoming. The wine cellar is such a treat. Staff were incredibly helpful. The bikes provided were a great way to see Bordeaux. The Manon suite felt like sleeping in the stars. The outdoor space is huge and the pool was excellent for cooling off in after a day of exploring Bordeaux. The details in the room and whole house, from stars in the floor to custom scent throughout the house were truly special. Would come back to Bordeaux just to stay at this hotel!

La Course is a splendid small guest house! My wife and I stayed 2 nights in early October. Lucie and her colleagues treated us with the utmost hospitality and care. Our room was very nice and comfortable, and even had a private balcony overlooking an interior courtyard patio. We had a spacious walk-in shower, although at least 1 guest room has only a bath. Our room was on second floor, which was a bit difficult for luggage transfer, but Lucie helped and that wasn’t a big problem. Breakfast was very nice each day, with fruit, juice, coffee, yogurt and a big basket of breads and pastry. I think I saw another guest ordering eggs. The living room is spacious and pleasant for chatting with other guests (or not) and pre-dinner wine A wine dispenser in the kitchen offers 4 white and 4 red wines for 5-7 per glass, billed to your account with a electronic card. Wine by the bottle can also be bought. The location is great, close to the center of the old city and the river. La Course is an outstanding experience and I. Give my highest recommendation without reservation.
