Super nice place! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and quality food.
A bit disappointing to be honest based on other reviewer feedback. The space is modern and clean and although the staff either didn't speak English (or pretended that they didn't) they were very friendly, so no-fault there. The reason for only 3-stars is because you cannot just go here and try a glass of wine. They require you to purchase at least 1 food item per table (which start at 5), and since this was the only wine bar in town that had this policy, I'm deducting 1 star. Plus, due to the language barrier, we weren't able to get any help in choosing our wines. I understand that we're in France, but since we didn't have this issue at any other wine bar or restaurant in Bordeaux, I'm taking another star as it affected the experience and overall value-for-money because the wines we received were subpar for the price compared to other establishments in town. We stopped in for a wine tasting and it was fabulous. Amazing Bordeaux wines and such friendly service. We also got the cheese board and foie gras and they were incredible. A must for Bordeaux!
This is a cool bar. Wine choice was very good and the staff recommended some really good wines. Like most places in Bordeaux you had to order some food. We had the truffle croches and they were delicious. Wine was slightly more than some other places, but quality was good. This place can look busy from the outside but there plenty of room out the back.
Really loved our wines and the owner
This is a great place to set and enjoy wine. The owners are very knowledgeable in wine and very pleasant to talk to. We visited the place four of the five nights we were in town. Will differently go back when we return.
