Just returned from a fabulous pottery holiday. Beautiful location. Caroline and Martin welcome you into their lovely home and garden. Caroline is a great teacher and full of enthusiasm and ideas. And Martin's food is excellent. It's been a week of education (on many subjects over dinner!), a lot of laughter with new friends, camaraderie and creativity. Thoroughly recommended!!

Steps up to pottery studio (photo) where I spent an amazing week with Caroline Winn and her husband Martin in her Cornish studio.. one of the best weeks of my life. The warm welcome, great food (thank you Martin) and excellent teaching by the delightful Caroline, just created the best week ever.. I would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in exploring or learning more about pottery.. I will be back... thank you again for a wonderful week. Philomena, Cork. Ireland
A fantastic place and space. Caroline is wonderfully enthusiastic and gently draws out your creative side, even if you didn't think you had one! Beautiful surroundings, a warm comfortable home with fabulous food and excellent company. A fabulous experience.
As all the other reviewers have said, the Cornish Pottery holiday with Caroline and Martin vastly exceeded my expectations. I am heartened to know that groups of strangers can come together with a common love (of ceramics...and food?) and join together to make a lovely \home\ for the week. Caroline's warmth, talent, patience and intelligence prove that good teachers really do make a difference in our endeavors. Getting the opportunity to relax in one of my favorite gardens, and also see the countryside on walks and excursions was fabulous. Wonderful memories of sitting around the table sharing laughter, conversation and delicious food (thanks to Martin!) will remain with me for a very long time!
Thank you to Caroline and Martin for a truly wonderful holiday at your home in Cornwall. Having not touched clay for the best part of 20 years I was not sure what to expect and considered myself very much a beginner again. Caroline's teaching style suited all capabilities within the group, and I soon felt at ease with the range of ideas offered. I was able to work at my own pace and make my own choices but Caroline usefully made suggestions on what I might experiment with. A beautiful setting deep in the countryside between the north and south coast; a great group of people and excellent food cooked by Martin made it a week to remember.
