Where to begin...the sales staff was great but that’s where the good stops. Our shower grout leaked and caused damage to the support structure. Had to take off work and have it ripped out and redone. At one point an employee showed up to do a repair and asked ME if we had any caulk! Um...no. You’re supposed to bring your supplies to work, sir. The wood floor caused huge splinters that literally cut open one child’s foot. Had to take off work and stay home days for that to be ripped out. The replacement floor? Didn’t line up properly so now there’s a gap between the wood and the fireplace. The tile wasn’t laid correctly upstairs. Where it meets the carpet was off as far as height so literally had that reworked no less than five times. Keep in mind that over and over I was told “there’s nothing wrong”, despite that fact that even guests would notice when touring the home. By the time they were done, the carpet wouldn’t stretch correctly so now there’s a huge gap in between the hall carpet and one of the bedrooms. Same thing leaving another bedroom upstairs into the hall. The threshold is not laid properly and you can feel a hump going from the room the the hall. But of course the four of us can feel it but no one from the shop agrees there is a problem. Save yourself. Don’t put yourself through it. If your builder sends you here, decline and choose a place of your own. Everything upstairs is literally still a mess. The only thing that saves me is I don’t have to go up there too often so fortunately I don’t have to see/feel it constantly but I worry about resale and it embarrasses me when we have guests.. I’m exhausted and out of leave so I’ve stopped fighting. This is literally just how it’s going to be for these floors, but you don’t have to be in the same boat.
