The room appeared clean-ish and I loved that it didn't have a carpet. It was an average Motel 6 experience for us - noisy neighbors and location (train), indifferent staff, not great or awful overall. It was easy to book last minute though, had cold a.c., and they didn't fuss about or charge extra for our dogs. We mostly travel by RV but when a repair means we need a motel, we typically end up in a motel 6. It's cheap and okay. Those are enough. I don't expect a motel to be like a 5-star hotel.

I made a reservation ahead of time not realizing what type of person "animal" worked behind the desk! When I got there I was separated from the woman by a large glass and could barely hear a word she spoke to me because of the extremely loud machines behind me! Her attitude STUNK from the beginning (racial perhaps?) She then commanded me to come into the office area so we could communicate..Almost everything she did, she did she did not ask me, but commanded me! I told her my wife and I needed sleep and I asked for a quiet room, which she said I'd get.. I told her there was a big party of people, maybe 20 hanging out in the parking lot in chairs etc.. Well the room that she gave me was directly above all that partying!! I came back to the office and asked for another room and she said there was no more rooms (with a very snotty arrogant tone and look) and I asked for my money back, that I was going somewhere else! She really got nasty then and treated me like a vagabond! After commanding me to sign a bunch of papers to get a refund she walked away and muttered some garbage and ignored me so I told her that she was not treating me well and I asked for the Managers name so I could complain! She walked away muttering something again and then ignored me so I left and went to my car and told my wife the unbelievable experience I just had, and got out of that scum hole as fast as I could! There was six cop cars with lights on in the next parking lot, this obviously in a terrible neighborhood with demons all over the place, and we got a nice room at Super Eight where the desk people were courteous, considerate, and treated me like a human being and a customer, not like a scumbag like the sad situation behind the desk at the Motel 6. I believe she must be racist, because I tried to be nice to her, yet she still acted like a demon...I never saw the rooms so can't review them..

When we first got in our room The a/c was making a horrible noise and the room was real stuffy. I went to the front desk and let them know. The heavy set women said she'd send maintenance. I left. 20 minutes later I went back and asked them for another room I told her we'd traveled all day and just wanted to rest. She said you can't have another room until maintenance has checked the a/c. I asked her why? She said it was policy. Then she called maintenance while I was there. Maintenance showed up right away and said it'll take him awhile to fix the a/c because it had to be deep cleaned. I then went back to the office and told her. I guess she didn't believe me because she called maintenance and asked him what was wrong. I don't think she ever called him the first time. It wasn't till I was upset she called. Then this other women gave us another room. I asked her where it was. She tried to tell me but the heavy set women interrupted her and said up stairs. She didn't even bother telling us it was on the other side. What a horrible attitude she had and not just with us. If she doesn't like working with the public then she needs to find another job. We will not ever go back to that motel 6. Only because we were exhausted from traveling we did not go to another one. Believe you me,she wanted to turn the light off and hope no one bothered her while she was working. What a shame she is unhappy. It shows in her job performance. I wouldn't want her working for me . Your employees are the reflection of the company.

Disgusting. Ive staying in cheap motels and hotels before but this was a new low. It had a dangerous feel to it, i guess because the room door didn't shut all the way. Then there was the smell... I dont think it has ever been cleaned. After the sun went down it turned into a "hey lets get super drunk and invite 100 of our friends to go room to room knocking on doors!" And "lets scream random things all night" Tv was static and barely had 5 channels. No Wi-Fi. Yeah they lied. There were cigarette burns in the tub and on the blankets and sheets. The lights, when they stayed on that is, flickered a rediculous amount. Only 2 of the power outlets worked. And they weren't near the smelly bed. I will never stay there again. For 60 bucks you can get a much better deal somewhere else. Probably safer too. Windows didnt lock. Door didn't really shut. Stuff stuck on mirror. Just ew.

The service at check in was great. The staff was very helpful. The room itself was good for the price. Nice large bath, a pretty comfy bed and an old school TV to give you that vintage motel feeling.

The people were nice for the most part. The location is awesome. It is close to a lot of other places to go in the city or 10 minutes from Shreveport. About 20 to 25 minutes from the Texas border. No microwave or fridge. The housekeepers were very loud but they definitely make sure you don't need anything.

We arrived to a very pleasant greeting and was given a room quickly. We went in the room. Clean (check) all looks good. We set the heater and leave. Hours later we return to a cooler than expected room. So we turn up the number on the heater. Yes I check that it was on Heat. As we got into bed, we noticed there was not a blanket on either bed. Only a sheet and bedspread, but since we turn up the heat control we went to bed. During the night I added hotels on top of my covers for more warmth. The next morning I did let the front desk to let them know both problems. We then checked out.
