Lovely place with pretty nice limited edition sneakers. Not everything seems like it is in this hidden temple around New England. Highly recommended if you want to see something different.
This is not to bash the team or company. I share in hopes of growth. I recently purchased some awesome pants. During check out I attempted to use promo code: BODEGAUSA (free shipping on 100 or more) when entered I received error messages. No worries. I purchased anyways and paid for shipping. I double checked the item to esure it wasn’t excluded and that the promo code was live it was. I emailed support and I can’t say that the experience was productive. “Jimmy” kept ignoring what seemed to be a technical issue by responding with : “promo code no longer available” which I understood. I further explained my experience of it being live during time of purchase. He responded the same. I asked to have it escalated. Nothing. I asked for an update and the shipping cost was refunded. Great. But 2 days later my order was canceled due to oversell.. Look, I thought about it carefully before i left this review. I love bodega. Trust me, I truly appreciate the content and concept. Not to be compared... however I can’t ignore the reviews I’ve read and the poor service I’ve let slide in the past due to my love and respect for the store. But I question. Was this intentional? I don’t believe that 100% I believe it was a system error that seems to affect many others. I rather be positive than negative. However, I can’t ignore the sour taste. I’m not going to sit here and threaten not to support your business or not to buy. I’d be lying to myself. I will state tho, I’m disappointed in the experience. Not so much the pants and that it was “oversold” But the dry and not welcoming tone/vibe. It’s not the bodega I know.
Love love Bodega !! But raffles are a joke, they should Chan their own server it’s stuck can’t checkout on time, the web browser doesn’t run well. It’s a piece of joke, al the freaking time I want some limited edition it’s not working. Stop doing it if you can make it come through well. I’m so piss
