They were very nice and helpful. Location right off the highway so really convenient. Accepts cash and checks only. And 2 to park

The vital statistics office is fine, it’s just the people at the front desk who charge you 2 to park in the lot. This would be fine if (1) they accepted payment other than cash (2) didn’t lie to you about the fact someone is out there checking “every second” and/or (3) didn’t send you next store to the hotel to use their ATM, where they charge a 4 fee, so you end up paying 6 to park for literally 5 minutes. Recommendation, don’t tell the front desk you’re parked in their lot.

This sight is not secure at all. I had 5 additional charges on my card from this purchase from Barcelona Spain. Had to close my account!!

I have been trying to correct the misspelling of my name on my birth certificate for over 6 months. I was advised by a paralegal, Ms. Denise O'Gara to go to the city clerk of the city of my birth to correct the error and said baptismal records containing the correct spelling of my name would be acceptable.. The City Clerk of Chelsea sent me on a wild goose chase, had me get a notary in the State of California to notarize an affidavit, and I was told that the document and notarization would not be accepted. They referred me back to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Registry of Records and Statistics. Calling does not help, since no live person will answer. This is an example of an ineffective bureaucracy staffed by uncaring state workers who care not about honoring the public trust. In fact, they are more concerned about the possibility of my committing fraud than researching my case sufficiently to assist me. Horrible experience.
