Lived in Massachusetts for a little over 4 years and have never taken the train. I was pretty impressed with the cleanliness of the station during this pandemic. They have a Starbucks in the center of the station, McDonald's, CVS, a bar and couple other eateries. The service I received when asking for directions or assistance was impeccable. Everyone was polite or extremely nice. I had a pleasant and enjoyable train ride from Boston Logan Airport to Worcester.
First train ride for me from Boston and I lived there for 4 years. I was pleasantly surprised how well maintained the station was. I understand I am traveling during a pandemic and most places were shut down and cleaned but to give credit for a station is a plus. They have a Starbucks, McDonald's, CVS and other food options. Kiosk to purchase tickets or ticket counters (as well as online ticket purchase). Everyone I came in contact with for directions or assistance was very nice and polite. I have nothing negative to say.
A surprisingly nice transit hub that has just about everything you need. Isn't completely disgusting/filled with the dregs of society, so yeah it's about as nice as one could expect for this kind of place.
Awesome station hub with access to Amtrak, capeFLYER, MBTA Commuter Rail, the Red line Subway, Silver line electrified buses to the Waterfront, South End & Airport plus the local, regional and national Bus Terminal. The station has a plethora of restaurants including fast food, fast casual, takeout and sit down plus a few stores like CVS. Right outside you have the entire city at your fingertips with the Waterfront, South Boston, Government Center, Restaurants, Museums and the Rose Kennedy Greenway! To name a few
