First class Botanical gardens with a wide selections of local and international plants along with an outstanding children’s play/educational area. Great paths and trails of assorted lengths. A small but very adequate snack area and gift store. Very well maintained. Only issue is construction going on makes a rather long walk, with steps, to the front. I would recommend dropping of folks at the entrance and then parking. This is free but a 2 donation is appreciated. There is always something new to see here. My son loves going to the Children's Garden, playing on the large rock structures found in the Asian gardens, and hiking the trails along the Middle Oconee River. We come year-round.
The botanical gardens were absolutely beautiful. Walking through the gardens was wonderfully relaxing and we were able to spend a few hours strolling along the paths.
Beautiful place!!!! Very well kept grounds, and so much fun! Lots of places to sit and rest if you need it. Bathrooms are very well kept and the food options looked amazing, but didn’t try them.
