The botanical gardens are a nice place to spend a morning or afternoon with family or alone. There are a couple nice streams and a little bit of wooded pathways to go with the wider main paths. It has open space to play and picnic. And it has signs to inform you of what beautiful flora you happen to be looking at.

If ever in the area of Asheville and needing to stretch the legs go here. It’s a beautiful place right by UNC of Asheville. It has great trails with good stopping places to sit to find peace and quiet. The day we went there was a gathering of people doing yoga in the meadow area. There are small bridges and streams that run throughout. What a treat to go there and get a little taste of nature while being so close to the little city.

This is a natural garden. I was expecting something different due to the word Botanical. It was still a nice place to visit.

A quaint location close to downtown dedicated to the protection of native plants, and educating the public. Excellent for families and a must for plants and nature lovers

Pretty nice place to visit. Has nice tree/plant markers for identification. Trail is short enough for a lunchtime walk. Will have to visit again in the spring time. Hopefully the visitor center will be open. Plenty of benches by the path and stream to sit and relax.
