I have an 8 year old Solar thermal system that has performed wonderfully. 3 days ago it failed. I called the company that installed the system and and trouble shot with them a couple times, without any success. Then I called them again to see about a service call. They said they couldn't help on the phone any more but they could send a tech out in 2 weeks for a 200 minimum charge. I called Aqua care and spoke with Pete 5 times over a 3 hour period and my system is running fine. This company is great and I highly recommend using them for solar thermal installation and related maintenance issues. My parents installed a Novan solar hot water system back in the 70's and it worked for decades. But they got older and stopped taking care of things and by the time I took over their house, it wasn't working. I thought it might be a write-off, but Boulder's Smart Regs energy standards had me taking a look at getting it fixed. Aqua Care to the rescue! They checked out the system and made a detailed list of what could be salvaged and what needed to be replaced. They were able to save more parts that I expected. It still wasn't cheap, but a good investment compared to some of the other alternatives for Smart Regs compliance. Aqua Care was great and their work was excellent. System works perfectly now, probably will for a long time to come. As long as it does, nobody that lives there will ever run out of hot water again.
