Great place to find the essentials that would cost you three or four times as much at a chain store

The store is chaos from the empty shelves to the long cashier lines. A female cashier said, “I’m 30 minutes over my shift” but didn’t put up a closed sign. Then she continues to hand pick who she is going to check out and who she isn’t. She literally had two people cut me, checked them out, and told me she was not going to check me out. So I move lanes to the only other one open with 9 people in it in front of me (yes I counted) and half the people in the previous lane cut me. I remember when Boulder used to be a polite and kind place to live but it has changed. Moral of the story....don’t go here unless you’re retired or have a lot of extra time on your hands. I was late to a work meeting because of this chaos. I waited in line for 17 minutes.

The staff wasn't wearing masks properly. Patrons didn't maintain social distancing adequately and the staff didn't say anything to help the situation. I don't feel that there's a good selection at this location and often shelves are half empty at best.

Always enjoy shopping at the store. They are currently rearranging the store set up. Lots of valentine's day and st Patrick's day decor.

GET NEW STAFF! The worst experience I have ever had at a store. I asked one of the employees if the balloons I was going to purchase could be blown up for me. The lady said yes and that I just needed to purchase them first hand. Two minutes after purchasing them the lady hid in the office for fifteen minutes then completely ignored me when she walked out. When I approached her she said the balloons couldn't be blown up and that I couldn't return them only exchange them. She didn't even apologize but instead got into defense mode. When I tried to exchange them at the register they told me I couldn't because they never gave me my receipt. Then when the manager came to help she joked about having covid. Almost all of the staff is very unprofessional and rude.

I try to support this particular Boulder store so it stays around! They (used to) have a solid inventory, at, well, super cheap prices. Sadly though, tonight was the 4th time in the last several months that when I made a special trip over that they closed before the posted regular hours of operation. It is a pain. I gave feedback to the store manager who had "good reasons", for the last 3. It's just finally tiring. The staff there is helpful and have great attitudes, but leaving early is a drag. It was only inconvenient for me personally 2 out of the 4 times. Bad business practice though. Also the current inventory is sloppy and depleted. Maybe its a CV19 issue. Could very well be. So...the rating? I am so glad they are around, but the dependability has been disappointing.
