Great selection of items and livestock for the true hobbyist! All high quality products at a good price, much better than what you’d find at a chain. It’s small yet well organized and it’s easy to find what you need. Fish and plants are well kept, and they even have a discount on future livestock purchases if you buy a tank there. Bettas are sourced locally! They are sizable, healthy, and the one we got is a great eater with tons of personality.

After years of buying fish from Petsmart, it is incredible to find such an incredible fish store. The fish are always beautiful and unique in their colors, and they are more interactive than any fish I have ever seen. When you get a fish from a chain store, the fish are usually timid and lacking personality. At Exotic Aquatics the fish are interactive and curious, and bring such life and joy to the tank! The service is really great, and even if they can't help you right away, them make sure to interact with you at some point, and are happy to help you in any way they can. I will never buy from a chain pet store again. Exotic Aquatics is where I will have all of my fish needs taken care of!
We have been here twice now and each time our questions weren't fully answered and we felt as if the owner was more focused on sales instead of truly trying to find a fish to fit our tank needs. Just in this last trip we were looking into buying a pea puffer fish (already having one at home), he quickly sold us 3 more ensuring that they would all get along well and be happy in our 10 gallon tank until we upgrade to a 29 which is in about a month. Once they were acclimated to our tank and put in, our puffer immediately went after the other three and has been actively attacking them ever since, one is very injured and may not make it. I feel he just sold us 3 to make tank space in the store and just sent these three here to fight it out gladiator style. If you know your information on fish and what you are looking for they have good selections and healthy tanks. If you are a new buyer and fish tank owner, I would not come here.
This place is looking great! It definitely needed some help a while back when I visited, and it has gotten it! Fish and plants were looking good, and the place looked very clean! The rock and driftwood selection was also pretty good!
Nice store with both fresh and saltwater fish. The store was very clean and well-arranged, and the fish looked healthy. They had some fish that you don't see every day, like native rainbow shiners, in addition to the more common species you'd expect them to carry. Good selection of driftwood at excellent prices. Although we were just looking this time, I would be happy to make the drive to buy from them in the future.
We had a great time at Exotic Aquatics today! The store was clean and Blake, the owner, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even gave my daughter three free fish! We will be returning there for our future fish purchases. Thank you, Exotic Aquatics!
Really like this small fish store. The fish I've purchased have been healthy and in the one occasion a Dwarf Gourami out of 3 died, they replaced him without question. They also carry stuff that the big box pet stores don't, as well as a very knowledgeable staff.
