NEGATIVES The smell was very weird throughout the hotel. We booked two different rooms. The hallway smelled bad in its own way, the first room smelled bad in its own way, and the second room smelled bad in its own way. This particular place also attracts a rough crowd. We were pretty sure that our neighbors were meth heads. They were very loud at like 3:00 AM. I understand that this can happen anywhere, but still. The advertised free breakfast was also a complete sham. COVID safety measures has affected all hotel breakfast places, but this place was rough. There was only pre-packaged pastries, and you were limited to one per person per day. The appliances did not shine that well. The mini fridges in each room had very inconsistent temperatures. The microwaves were very outdated and sometimes impossible to use. Also, there was mouse poop in the rooms that accumulated over the days of our stay. POSITIVES The staff was overall very friendly and personable. One of the front desk lady obviously had lost a few marbles, but nonetheless very sweet. They were also very lenient in general with guests and noise. 420 friendly, even just directly outside the hotel.

Friendly & welcoming employees along with my kind of priced rooms. I really believe there's quite a lot for your buck. Large rooms with good TV's with variety of channels for your entertainment. As well as inside & outside 2 pools. Click the LIKE icon below please if you agree with or like my review.... Thanks.
Fair prices and clean! Location is very convenient. The rooms are a bit dated but they do have a flat screen TV and are comfortable. Staff was great and let me check in early! Overall I was very satisfied with my stay here and would return if I'm in the area again
good sized rooms..antique and charming interiors..close to university of Colorado boulder. terrible, meh breakfast. avoid if you are a breakfast fan.
A great hotel I have a lot of good memories from when I stayed there and I would recommend it to other people for Boulder they have very great rates also very friendly staff great place to stay
Awesome View, Attentive and friendly staff... filthy. So disappointing. The room was just so dirty and unkempt. There was dust all around the corners of the room, stains on the sheets, stains on the wall, splattered toothpaste on the lamp?, Stains on the lampshade, water leak marks on the ceiling, just gross. The hotel is really beautiful, it's just a shame it isn't taken care of. The hotel doesn't change the sheets during your stay, but says they change them after your stay which is nic and environmentaly conscious. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone with the condition of our room. I feel bad for the owner, you can tell the staff at the service counter really enjoy what they do, but the cleaning staff definitely needs to work on taking care of the rooms.
Not a pleasant stay. We got quite a dirty room. I know it’s a cheaper place but I can’t believe it’s this bad. There are stains everywhere and toenails on the floor.
We had a great stay. The hotel is definitely older but that's what gives it it's charm. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location is great! Walking distance to Moe's BBQ and Dark Horse which are great places in Boulder. Also a super easy 8 min drive to downtown.
