On a positive note, this is the only laundrette I have seen in many years, that has a table to fold the laundry, even though it was quite dirty. It looks tidy enough, even though it could be cleaner; there was quite a lot of dust on the dryers’ doors. I was upset in finding out that the sign on the machine said the wash was 4, but the machine asked for 4.40. On a more careful look after I started my wash, I found out that some machines showed matching information, but the machine I looked at and used didn’t. The machines have a design fault on the doors and I had an item stuck between the door and the drum during the whole wash. There was no phone number to call in case of need or emergency and no staff present whatsoever. In case of a problem you’re stuck and in the evening the lights switch off and the door locks automatically, potentially locking you out with your laundry still drying inside. This is possibly the poorest service I’ve ever encountered. The drier I used was good, but it cost 50p for only 5 minutes of drying time.
I have used them For my Airbnb turnarounds and they have been absolutely flawless for 2 seasons now!! Highly recommended always really polite and always go above and beyond to make sure I get my bedding!
Very impressed with the service & cleanliness. The owner was very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this laundrette.
