Just a great place to eat. Good honest food at a reasonable price. Have dined here for over 20 years and never had a bad experience, new manager is right on the ball and the staff are really happy. Good to see managers complimenting staff on a regular basis, shows good manners and respect for their hard work. Really hope the Bowling Green does well in this uncertain times, it deserves to! To the manager, keep it up, its a winning formulae and you should be proud of your staff, I know I would be.

Well if it wasn't for the heavy discount we got from the manager and the original waitress who dealt with us this would of been a 1 star, we had 4 bad meals out of two tables 9 people. Lesson learnt i think from the establishment but happy with the end result. If I was to recommend in my experience before the manager came to our table it would be a no. However the manager did the establishment good and so did the young lady who took our orders.

I think that the area for the kids is brilliant. You can sit and watch them play knowing that they are safe and can't get out. Can also eat your lunch in peace. It's good to come on your own also as you can sit in a different area where it's less noisy. Ample parking and ice cream selection is great. Have ordered the food off the menu before and it's nice. I ordered a standard carvery which was 8. It's always tasty, however they are a bit mean with the meat they could give you a bit more with the price. There's cheaper carvarys about. Staff are friendly and the dining area/toilets are clean. Would give it a 5* but did expect more for the price.

I went here with my friend for a nice meal. We both enjoyed the food a lot and the staff were very friendly and chatty. We were very impressed with the children play area and will definitely come again with our families.
