I was brought here by a friend of mine from Kazakhstan, he wanted to share an authentic experience through the culinary tradition from his home land. Uzbekistan, which neighbors Kazakhstan shares similar foods and flavors - The owners of this hidden gem of a restaurant have brought something truly special to Austin Texas. Extremely friendly service from great people and memorable adventure for your palate await at bowl menu! If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Let's rejoice that we can enjoy this nationality's cuisine, as you don't find it everywhere. I got a snack of hummus. It pleased my palate. The location rocks my world; they chose a winner of a location! I may return.
Delicious food! I found this place by looking at reviews of local restaurants. The reviews are accurate! There are 2 things that I like to measure in food, freshness & whether it's over-salted. There's nothing worse than having over-salted food which MOST places do. The crepes were delicious along with the mixed veggies with cabbage & an olive salad. Yum hit the spot!
Absolutely delightful! The lamb was gorgeous, as was the borscht. You have to get a cheburek - mine had meat, but I'm trying the vegetarian one next time!
DELICIOUS! Fresh Comfort Food. Full of flavor, not spicy (unless you want it to be, spicy sauce is on the side). Meat is lean, quality, flavorful. Wasn't sure what to expect from Uzbek food, but I think most American pallets will recognize fresh comfort-food flavors. We tried it on a whim, & it immediately became one of our favorite places. Menu recognizes different diet preferences: look for plenty of GF-friendly & vegetarian options.
