I avoid this location at all costs however when I do visit, the employees are are almost always rude and dismissive. My daughter and I visited this past Tuesday around 3/4 and were not greeted or spoken to the entire time we were in the store and when I went to cash out, both employees working were nowhere to be found (Kayla was one of their names, can't recall the other.) And when they finally returned they were chatting with each other and ignoring us.

I go to this carters often with a small toddler and another baby on the way! Every time I walk in I am greeted with a welcome and if I need help finding anything! The last visit I was in looking for a big brother shirt the employee (Amanda) I think was her name.. she was more then helpful with my very picky decision on what shirt to buy! Very patient with me and my son as he was not in the best mood! If I ever need help all employees are within reach to ask! The employees are great and treat me with great respect! I always recommend this store to friends and family! Keep up the amazing work ladies! Thanks for making my shopping trips enjoyable!

The employees here are not helpful...they always seem to be chatting with each other and have no time for the customers. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm a bother when I'm spending money in a store. I shop carters for my two youngest and my three grand kids regularly and this new Bowmanville store is by far the worst for customer service. The door to their backroom was open and I could see managers standing there gabbing while the poor associate is trying to juggle cash and greet the customers. There is always shipment racks on the floor full of product and today I had to physically move a rack to enter the store. How is this acceptable. So today I asked for the store managers name (Kelly)and to talk to her ...but she was in the back. Wow... She was the one gabbing in the back.... Hope head office reads this and instills some customer service into this store.... Until then ...I will take the longer drive to Oshawa and spend my money there.

I would echo ‘A’ s review I visited this store on Dec 29 & Dec 31 Both times I was not greeted or spoken to until I approached the cash. On the 29 I was the only person in the store and had to move racks out of the way to maneuver my stroller. This is a children’s store you would think they would lay the store out to help parents shop with their kids. The staff spoke amongst themselves about non work related topics. Then went into the back. When I cashed out the associate never looked up at me and only spoke to me to tell me the total of my order. When I went in on the 31 there were 4 other customers in store and no one was spoken to. One of the same associates was there (brunette & glasses) and again I was ignored. When I cashed out the other associate was more chatty and explained the sale discounts. I asked her name, Sophia. Sophia was the only positive aspect of my shopping experience. For a relatively new store to Bowmanville and one that caters to kids their customer service is severely lacking. Extra training is clearly needed. I won’t go back.
