VERY disappointed, extremely poor customer service, I had ordered same day print service and over 2 weeks later after multiple attempts to contact them and request a refund there was still no answer, they finally automated a reply and said the print was ready to be picked up, (still charging me the same price for same day delivery) but I did not need it anymore hence trying to cancel it for over 2 weeks. Worst customer experience ever. Never received my refund.

Much smaller than my regular Staples store but it is a small town store so it may be the right size for Bowmanville. Knew what I wanted and paid at cash, Cashier was friendly and efficient.
I made an online order to do a same day print , which I was aware that it would be ready the following day due to me ordering past cut off time. I needed the photos for a Christmas gift. I spent 100 , picked them up the next day and they looked like I printed them off my computer. I was aware some photos were not top quality due to the fact that they were phone photos, but they were printed on cardstock, not photo paper. The same day print option doesn’t allow you to change the paper quality , and says it will print on standard photo paper. I assumed this would be fine, but I was not pleased with the photos. I called the store and politely spoke to an employee to ask if there’s a chance I can get a refund so I can print them myself on their self serve printer. She told me to go in with the photos so I could speak to the manager. The manager said “ it’s a cost to us, so we can’t not refund you”. I didn’t argue but asked if there’s anyway I can be compensated because I wanted to reprint them , at their store, and they didn’t want to do anything about it. I sent an email to head office but they obviously don’t care either, and haven’t answered. I understand the service was already done but if you have a customer not satisfied with your product, a good manager should want to try to help them out. It only made me realize that large corporate stores are just money hungry and all that matters is their end of day quota. 100 is pennies to Staples as a whole, But I hope the Bowmanville store meet their quota by refusing my refund.
I have had really good experiences here in the past. I have purchased 2 laptops here over the past 7 years and the staff were excellent. However my experience at the print centre was horrible. One staff was trying to help three customers. You can only pay to use their copy machines using a card. There was an issue with my machine and it would not copy my document. I waited for 10 minutes for assistance but ended up leaving. I received a charge to my credit card despite not having been able to copy anything. There was an older gentleman there at the same time who wanted to have a document photocopied and was having trouble understanding the process. I also saw him leave emptyhanded out of frustration. The staff did not handle this situation very well.
Decent staff with decent prices. Though I wish they had more higher end family g laptops on display. I always get different items from cables to keyboards and everything in between
