I spoke to Shelley about three weeks ago now. She seemed friendly and took her time to get to know me. We spoke for about 4 hours, and she asked me about my vision for my wedding, she asked me what vendors I’d already booked, etc and as I was talking, she was googling everything, my vendors, my venues, my ideas, everything. She said, “I totally understand what you are looking for! ” And it really did seem that way to me. She promised to send me estimates, and then, nothing. I haven’t heard a peep from her or her team. I emailed her a couple of times, I called her and left messages. Nothing. She ghosted me. I’m hurt, because I felt I had found a match, but also because I feel now like she was just cat fishing for ideas and was never really interested in working with me. It’s sad, I wanted to hire her for our wedding. I could be wrong, but that’s what it feels like now. I actually feel a little violated too, since she even googled my wedding website and asked for the password. If she can’t work with me anymore, the most professional thing to do is call or email and explain this. I’ve received neither. So I have to leave her this terrible review so other brides don’t go through this. Ladies, don’t share your ideas before you’ve signed a contract.
