Make sure you check on your loved one's inscription plaque. It was well over a year and I realized they never called to arrange for the inscription to be written out and placed. When it was finally put on they never contacted me. Completely unhelpful.

Choosing Eternal Light Memorial Gardens was just a painful decision when I lost my 30 year old son five months ago and what happened after was hurtful. The grass is yellow around my son grave and not taking care of .When I go every Sunday I am disturbed by the noise of caterpillar digging someone hole and this next to me .Can’t you do it when it is closed at 3:30pm?seriously? No respect . I had also the terrible surprise to see my son stone in place without any phone calls and it is a traumatic experience as you can imagine no parents should experience.the cherry on the top is the letter I received yesterday telling all the rules about putting stones which is a Jewish tradition on your plot because it can hurt someone when they cut the grass .guess what ! Maybe they should use someone who care enough to not destroying our site?we paid enough money ! So if you think about burying someone please think twice I regret that I did it there but when you are in pain unfortunately we don’t think straight .

Eternal Light left my grandmother's box of ashes on a card table covered with AstroTurf; a facility-assigned speaker was supposed to say some words but did not show, and as we said our good-byes, their groundskeeper sat nearby, watching and waiting for us to finish. It was a disgrace.

Lori was amazing and very helpful and always would get back to me quickly. My only issue is that it doesn’t appear that the benches are cleaned or any bug program is in place. The benches are filthy and can not be sat on. The mosquitoes are unbearable in summer and perhaps a periodic spray would be helpful. For these 2 reasons, I frequent less than I would like.

Eternal Light needs an eternal makeover. I went to visit two family members and two friends' graves at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens today. I shudder to think how much money was paid to give my loved ones a quiet peaceful resting place when all I saw was weed-filled and unmanicured grass, unfertilized trees, and do not even get me started as to how many ants bit me. Who would ever think to complain about a cemetery? Not me. Hiring a good company who knows how to maintain Florida lawns and pest control would be a start. Not one of the people I know who are buried here would have ever thought this place was up to their high-quality standards. Give us a feeling of peace, love, and connection to our loved ones and some pride in the fact you clean the headstones once in a while and give us a modernized map of the property that is not from 1991.Cant help but feel like they just packed in the deceased wealthy Jewish people to make a profit and then kind of moved on to the next business because this place is pretty full now. I would advise looking elsewhere for your final resting place needs unless you want to depress your loved ones when they come visit your grave :) :)
