I love Spencer’s gifts it’s one of my favourite stores! But the manager and staff need to improve on their behaviour. They accused my friends and I of stealing. we had cards and t shirts in our hands to buy but we wanted to look at the jewelry before checking out, The manager stood there for about 2 minutes and then told us to open our bags and that we are stealing and also said she caught us on the film which was a lie, then when I clarified that we were buying what was in our hands she said okay and walked away and I asked her if she still wanted to check out our bags to make sure she said no rudely not even apologizing to us. And to fix this problem one of the staff just gave a 20% off for just one of my friends not all of us.. I don’t think will be back to shop here unfortunately I would have given more than one star because I do really love the store when ever I can come down to Florida but for this situation I don’t think it deserves anything more.

Regarding the most recent review, I was there that day and the manager had seen the kids put Spencer’s merchandise into their shopping bags from other stores. When asked to have their bag checked the kid proceeded to remove the merchandise from their bag, so therefore the managers suspicion were correct. I think it’s common sense that you do not put products in your personal bag while shopping at any store. Whether their intentions were to steal or they just put the merchandise in their bag for convenience rather than having to hold it, that is VERY suspicious and management has every right to confront them. Especially when these stores deal with theft on an almost daily basis. It’s nothing personal, it’s business.

The store Manager Jeannie was great helped me find what I was looking for and more. Her and staff were so helpful and kind I came in for 1 item and left with 10 only because the service was amazing and kindness was sincere. I would recommend the Spencer’s in Boynton Beach over any other any day of the week the staff and Manager made me feel special not just a customer. I appreciated them so much and the help they gave me made me feel like I wasn’t just a customer but family. I shop there because of the people. I will continue to go there because of there appreciation ! I feel like a member of their team. I recommend this location! Come meet the Staff and management!
