Very grateful to have Dr Kunnath as our GI. He is extremely professional and empathetic towards patient’s concerns. He would go above and beyond to care for his patients. Our child was suffering a lot of pain and when we tried booking an appointment and requested to see immediately, they were so considerate and moved up our appointment and endoscopy procedure as an emergency. We have had very horrible experiences in the past with other specialists. Not only did he rule out GI issues from his end which was a huge relief but he promptly worked with other specialist and sent a referral for us and they called us to schedule an appointment. Have never received so much care from any Doctor before. His care and concern towards his patients amazes us. He has a great team of nurses who are awesome. They listen to you very patiently when you call them. Perfect team work!

My 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. We had NO idea what we were in for but Dr. Kunnath and his staff at Boys Town were nothing but AMAZING to us! They treated us like family and made sure both my son and I were comfortable with everything. They explained everything and didnt just pawn us off to someone else. He spends time with us every visit and answers any and all questions I have. My son now knows what to do everytime we go visit. Highly recommend Boys Town and they always enjoy seeing us with remembering arms when we have to make the 3 1/2 hour trip there.

My son had been fairly ill for more than a month. After multiple doctors and ER visits, we finally brought him in to BoysTown. Dr. Kunnath asked questions that none of the other practitioners elsewhere had thought to ask. He immediately had an idea of what was concerning our son. After changes in his diet and an endoscopy and testing to confirm his diagnosis, we found our son had food allergies as well as a very aggressive stomach virus. Dr. Kunnath quickly got him on the mend. His expertise and inquisitive yet calm nature makes him an easy recommendation from our family to yours.

He is very kind and outgoing. He truly wants what is best for the patient in the long run, and does not just give medication recommendations willy nilly. He also lets the patient and their family make health decisions and allows them to do their own research. I would recommend him to anyone as he has done wonders for me.
