Hospice Muskoka is a volunteer driven, community based, not-for-profit organization providing compassionate support to individuals and their loved ones of all ages and backgrounds, who are coping with end-of-life issues and bereavement. Hospice Muskoka has been serving the residents of South and West Muskoka since 1995 in the communities of Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Bala, Mactier, Honey Harbour, Kilworthy, Severn Bridge, Vankoughnet and all areas in between! Specially trained visiting volunteers provide non-medical, supportive care with a focus on the emotional and social needs of our clients and their families where ever they live – at home, in hospital, retirement and nursing homes. Hospice Muskoka is part of an integrated care team who provide physical, social, emotional, and spiritual care for individuals and their families. Through established partnerships with other health organizations, faith and community groups, there is a blanket of support throughout South and West Muskoka where the highly trained volunteers of Hospice Muskoka are especially valued.
